2025 Annual Meeting

Thursday, March 6, 2025 | 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 

The 2025 Annual Meeting will be a virtual blend of live and prerecorded videos featuring insights from our executives and department leaders. The link to join the Annual Meeting will be provided closer to the event date. 

Board of Directors Election Process

The Nominating Committee

In accordance with the Credit Union bylaws (Section 3.06), the Chairman of the Board of Directors shall “appoint a nominating committee of not less than three credit union members in good standing.” The required appointments are Kent Ballard, Lesa Reed, and Darrel Crump.

Nominations by the Nominating Committee

Also as directed by Credit Union bylaws (Section 3.06), “It shall be the duty of the nominating committee to nominate at least one member for each board vacancy, including any unexpired term, for which elections are to be held.” Therefore, the committee nominates the following members, each for three-year terms: Vicki Ritcherson and Elliot Yanzuk.

Nominations by Petition Procedure

In addition to candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee, members may be nominated by petition. The petition must nominate a member and include a written description of their qualifications and biographical data and must be signed by 2% of members in good standing (or 500 members). There will be no nominations from the floor and the election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled.

The Board Secretary must receive any signed petition prior to 5:00 pm on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 6219 Spur 327, Lubbock, Texas 79424. On the petition is an Agreement to Serve, that must be signed, certifying the petitioner is willing to serve for the term nominated. New Business

Any new business for the Annual Meeting must be submitted in writing to the Secretary of the Board by Friday, January 31st, 2025, at 6219 Spur 327, Lubbock, Texas 79424. Any new business submitted in writing to the Secretary will be responded to in writing at the Annual Meeting. There will not be a call for New Business at the meeting.

2023 Board of Directors Nominees

Vicki Ritcherson

Mrs. Ritcherson has been involved with the ALLIANCE Credit Union Movement for over 44 years. She worked for ACU for over 34 years, retiring in 2025. While working for ACU, her title was Branch Manager. Mrs. Ritcherson was elected to the ACU Board of Directors in 2015. She currently serves on the ACU Asset/Liability Committee. Mrs. Ritcherson has completed all the required regulatory Board training. Her goal as a board member will be to continue the positive direction in which ACU is moving. 

Elliot Yanzuk

Mr. Yanzuk is a Lubbock resident and has been employed with Emerson Electric for 17 years as an Electrical Engineer. He has been a member of ALLIANCE for over 17 years. Mr. Yanzuk was elected to the ACU Board of Directors in April 2024 and has completed all required regulatory Board training. His goal as a board member is to impact the future direction of ALLIANCE.
